Lucifer – The Light bearer
The Bible records that God actually created a powerful, intelligent, and beautiful angelic being (the chief among all angels) called Lucifer. Lucifer was good when he was created. However, Lucifer had a free will like a human being.
Isaiah 14:12-14
"How you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You said in your heart, I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the North. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”
Ezekiel 28:13-17
"...You were the seal of perfection, Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty. You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The sardius, topaz, and diamond, Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created. You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you; You were on the holy mountain of God; You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones. You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, Till iniquity was found in you. By the abundance of your trading you became filled with violence within, and you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing out of the mountain of God; And I destroyed you, O covering cherub, From the midst of the fiery stones. Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor; I cast you to the ground, I laid you before kings, That they might gaze at you."
Lucifer, like Adam, had a choice. He could accept that God was the ultimate creator God or he could choose to decide that he would rise to be God himself. His repeated "I wills” show that he chose to defy God and declared himself to be ‘Most High’. Lucifer’s beauty, wisdom and might – all the good things created in him by God. His pride led to his rebellion and fall, but he still has his power and traits. He is leading a cosmic revolt against his Creator to see who will be God. His strategy was to enlist mankind to join him – by tempting them to succumb to the same choice that he made – to love themselves, become autonomous from God, and defy Him. The heart of the test of Adam’s will was the same as Lucifer’s; it was just arrayed with a different style. They both chose to be ‘God’ to themselves. This was (and is) the ultimate ‘god delusion’.
Given the fact that, according to the Bible, Adam was created on the sixth day of our planet’s existence, we can determine a biblically based, approximate age for the earth by looking at the chronological details of the human race. This assumes that the Genesis account, that the six days of creation were literal 24-hour periods, and that there were no ambiguous gaps in the chronology of Genesis.
The genealogies listed in Genesis chapters 5 and 11 provide the age at which Adam and his descendants each fathered the next generation in a successive ancestral line from Adam to Abraham. Moreover, the genealogy of Jesus in the Book of Matthew Chapter 1, provides the continuation from the ancestral line of Abraham to Jesus. By counting from the current time to the time of Jesus and backwards into history chronologically to the time of Abraham and adding up the ages provided in Genesis 5, 11, it becomes apparent that the Bible teaches the earth to be about 6000 years old.
God uses varieties of mediums to convey His messages:
- The Bible (The Words of God).
- A voice from the heart (Holy Spirit speaks within our heart that bring comforting peace, boldness, joy, life but not fear nor intimidation).
- An audible voice
- Angels
- Servants of God (Pastors, Evangelists, Missionaries, Apostles, Prophets, Bible Teachers, Worship Leaders).
- People around us (words of encouragement, words of advice, etc...).
- Dreams and visions (Warning of disaster, dream that bring peace and hope but not nightmares).
- Divine occurences (Being taken to heaven or hell).
- Natural Phenomeon (Natural disasters, Tsunami, Earthquakes, Typhoon etc... ).
- Television, Internet and Articles
- Our Life situation (challenging situation to shape our characters).
In the bible, the book of Genesis 10, tells us that after the great flood, the world population descended from Noah's family. Then, God commanded humanity to increase in number and fill the earth . However, they decided to do the exact opposite. In Genesis 11, The descendants of Noah decided to build a city with its tower top that reaches to heaven with purpose of building name for themselves so they will not be scattered over the face of the earth. In response, God confused their language, causing a break-up of the population into smaller groups which scattered over the earth (Genesis 11:8-9). We prefer to call these “people groups” rather than “races".
Modern genetics show how, following such a break-up of a population, variations in skin color, for example, can develop in only a few generations. The really important factor in determining skin color is melanin, we all have the same coloring pigment in our skin. This is a dark-brownish pigment that is produced in different amounts in special cells in our skin. Some humans have very little or no melanin synthesis in their bodies, a condition known as albinism which have a very white or pink skin coloring. If we produced a little melanin, we would be European white. If our skin produced a great deal of melanin, we would be a very dark black and in between, with all shades of brown.
The eye colour is determined by two distinct factors: the pigmentation of the eye's iris and the frequency-dependence of the scattering of light by the turbid medium in the stroma of the iris. In humans, the pigmentation of the iris varies from light brown to black, depending on the concentration of melanin in the iris pigment epithelium (located on the back of the iris), the melanin content within the iris stroma (located at the front of the iris), and the cellular density of the stroma. The appearance of blue and green, as well as hazel eyes, results from the Rayleigh scattering of light in the stroma, a phenomenon similar to that which accounts for the blueness of the sky. Neither blue nor green pigments are ever present in the human iris. Eye color is thus an instance of structural color and varies depending on the lighting conditions, especially for lighter-colored eyes.
We need to be aware that we are not born with a genetically fixed amount of melanin. Rather, we have a genetically fixed potential to produce a certain amount, and the amount increases in response to sunlight. For example, you may have noticed that when your Caucasian friends (who spent their time indoors during winter) headed for the beach at the beginning of summer they all had more or less the same pale white skin color. As the summer went on, however, some became much darker than others.

We can only partially comprehend the notion of God's existence. Eternity is a term that is used to express the concept of something that has no end--and/or no beginning. God has no beginning or end . God has existed from everlasting to everlasting. One day in heaven is like 1000 years on earth. No one has created God. Through Him all things were created, without Him nothing was created. God is without father or mother and without genealogy. God is the Beginning and the End. He is beyond the realm of time.
Psalm 90:2
"Before the mountains were born or You gave birth to the earth and the world, Even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God."
Colossians 1:16
"For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him."
John 1:3-4
"Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind."
Revelation 22:13
"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End."
Before the fall of Mankind into sin, life in the garden of Eden was so perfect. Adam and Eve would walk with God in the garden in the cool of the day. Adam and Eve did not have to toil to earn a living. Adam and Eve would enjoy the beautiful scenery of the garden. Adam and Eve were the master of the garden of Eden. Beasts and mankind lived peacefully with one another in the garden.Until the day Adam and Eve committed sin by eating of the forbidden fruits, thus disobeying God. God had warned Adam and Eve that if they ate the fruits from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they will surely die. Initially, God created mankind in the image of God with the supernatural attributes of God of being immortal. But the old serpent, the devil deceived them that if they ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, they will become like God instead. The devil tempted Adam and Eve to contemplate the possibility of becoming God and possibly replacing the creator God. Sin has brought great suffering upon mankind - death, sickness and pain, strive and toil. Adam lived to the age of 930 years then he died. Nowadays, human being can lived at maximum only 100 over years old. The ground was cursed because of the sin of Adam. Therefore, Mankind will toil to earn a living. The pain in child birth was increased because of the sin of Eve. Ultimately, The penalty of sin is the eternal suffering in hell.
Nevertheless, God is full of compassion, because of His great love, He sent Jesus Christ into the world to redeem mankind from sins and eternal death. Jesus bore the curses of sin on the cross of calvary. The sinless God became man and sacrificed His precious life in exchange for eternal life for all mankind who believe in Him. He wore the crown of thorns to break the curses of the ground so mankind can enjoy the works of their hands. He was bruised for the iniquities of mankind so that by His stripes mankind can be healed from sickness and diseases. What a great hope we have in Jesus Christ!
